Clear-Burns

What disappears or becomes hidden behind an image?

"What they uncovered and their insight into my soul's lessons and experiences, felt like they were looking into the very depths of me and uncovering  how I work and more so, how I continue to repeat certain patterns in my life.”

Pappas-Kelley is an energy worker, artist, and educator - trained in Akashic reading and healing, sacred image work, guide and journey work, and as a Reiki Master. They write extensively on art, the relationship between undoing/destruction as integral in the creative act, sacred/other, and contemporary culture. Their recent book Solvent Form: Art and Destruction was published by Manchester University Press and their newest collection is To Build a House that Never Ceased.

“What might art look like from across the leap, as who is to say there might not be a form of landscape painting capable of ravaging itself through these fires? …Instead, it might simply be the radical leap that each step implies as this moment of destruction or undoing from which we walk enskinned. And what might this all look like—I have no idea, but I see it and it is burning.”
